THE WHARFEDALE STROLLERS WALKING FOOTBALL CLUB
WELCOME to the home of the Wharfedale Strollers Walking Football Club for the Over 55s here in Ilkley.

In August 2014 we began our journey at Ben Rhydding Sports Club in Ilkley with our first session with 10 players. By 2019 the number of registered players had reached nearly 200.

We run daily sessions - Monday to Friday at Ben Rhydding Sports Club, Ilkley.

The sessions are open to both men and women over 55 years of age and are intended to be all-inclusive and recreational, rather than competitive. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable activity, which promotes both physical and social wellbeing.

Come along and see what it's all about. All you will need are a pair of Astroturf shoes, some comfortable attire and a water bottle.

All sessions are conducted by a Qualified FA Football Coach.

For those who do not normally partake in regular exercise, it would be a wise move to make an appointment with your GP and explain to him / her what your intentions are and maybe undergo a health check-up before you start.
